Jericho 9s Tournament was Awesome!

This May Long Weekend, Jericho hosted 11 teams to play in the 9 selects tournament, with teams from Jericho, Dunbar, Kerrisdale, Lynn Valley, Trout Lake, Coquitlam, Langley, Highlands, New West, South Van, and Hastings.

The kids had a great weekend, and played some amazing baseball. The tournament finished on Monday evening, where the Langley 9 selects won the championship over a strong Jericho 9 selects team with a final score of 11 to 7. The Jericho 9 selects were: Odin Andersen, Evan Borisoff, Sam Creelman, Emmitt DeGroot, Cruz Klassen, Nate Levy, Adam Miedzygorski, Ashton Procyshyn, Joshua Read, Naoki Tomilson and Luke Van Alstine, and were coached by Ken Andersen, Trevor Procyshyn, Chris DeGroot and Shawn Read. An incredible amount of work was put into hosting the 22 game tournament over the three days, so a big thank you to all the volunteers that came out to help.
